What counts as an active role?
A filled position on your org chart. Vacant roles are free. You pay for filled positions, not seats.
Is there a minimum?
Yes. Useful is not an off-the-shelf product. Our team goes to a lot of effort to personalise your workspace, so our minimum contract value is £6,000 a year in the UK, or $8,000 a year in the US.
How are we billed?
Annually. Prices exclude any sales taxes or VAT that apply.
Does every plan include an HR professional?
Yes. Every customer has a dedicated HR professional. Useful is easy to use and you can configure everything yourself if you prefer, but your HR professional is always there for any help, support, training or guidance you need.
How hard is it to set up?
Not hard at all. There's very little onboarding for you to do. Once we have the information we need about your organisation, we do all the work of building your workspace. We train your HR team, and everyone else can start straight away: Useful is simple to use and walks people through every step of submitting their reviews. There's no onboarding cut-off either. Your HR professional works with you for as long as you're with us, helping shape how you use Useful as much or as little as you like.
Do we have to use every feature in our plan?
No. Every feature can be switched on or off, so you only use what you need.
How is the data we collect shared around the company?
You have complete control of who can see what, so it's entirely up to you.
